This mid year I took my young ladies to the Big Apple Circus in Queens, New York and it was a night of family fun! Wanting to go as much as I do, I made a promise to myself that this late spring I was going to approach my own "terrace" of Long Island and encompassing ranges, with the same energy as I do when I go, via looking into and encountering all the sights and exercises that are occurring generally. At the highest priority on my rundown was The Big Apple Circus.
I am not a benefactor of bazaars that adventure and utilization extraordinary creatures or have them doing unnatural things. Be that as it may, in the wake of doing some exploration, I was genuinely sure that this carnival did not fall into that class and was willing to take a risk and see for myself. I was extremely satisfied by what I found on all levels!
The Big Apple Circus has been around in New York City since 1977, and I'm embarrassed to say, I had never seen it this previous weekend. An extraordinary arrangement has changed in the previous 35+ years from its modest beginnings in Battery Park, to featuring at Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, Manhattan and to voyaging all around the United States and abroad. I was so withdrawn with this New York-based occasion, that I was really stunned to discover that the present area for which I would be buying tickets was right here in Queens at Cunningham Park.
As a youngster going to secondary school in Queens, Cunningham Park was a huge hang out, thus, it was really a touch energizing to be returning there with my kids, numerous years after the fact, to see a show under the enormous top!
