n the latest updates the Sindh Rangers have arrested MQM leader Farooq Sattar. This is an exclusive update which has just happened. Farooq Sattar was outside Press club in a rally protesting. From there the rangers arrested him. Reports further say that along with Farooq Sattar five other members of MQM were also arrested.
This arrest has come at a very crucial stage when the relations between the Rangers and MQM were on a very dangerous point. The MQM chief Altaf Hussain last night in his telephonic address accused rangers of being biased.
Dozens of FIRs are being launched against Altaf Hussain in different police station across Sindh for his hate speech against the security institutes. The arrest of Farooq Sattar remarks the decision of rangers and Army to continue the ongoing operation in Sindh.
MQM will certainly have trouble now and the Karachi will see once again a halt to its activities. MQM always uses street power and violence. The arrest of Farooq Sattar means rangers and army have decided they will go to any level to make this operation successful. MQM itself needs to look into their policies.
