For centuries it remained a myth that if every creature has a mode of communication then how do insects communicated with each other. Humans use to hear the voices of animals and got the idea about their communication but as for insects he remained clueless.
The Quran told the told Muslims that the Prophet Solomon was awarded with a special quality by the Lord that he had this ability to talk and understand any animal, bird or even insect’s language. In the Surah Namal where the Quran sheds light on an incident that happened to Prophet Solomon.
Prophet Solomon was moving in a valley with his army and he was leading them all and when he passed near an ant nest he heard their leader saying to his or her tribe to run and hide themselves as the King Solomon was approaching with his army and his army may cause you a trouble.
The Prophet smiled on hearing the ant. Throughout the times the people who didn’t believe in religions made fun of this incident and mocked the Muslims that they claim one of their prophet had the ability to talk to ants.
Now science has proved that ants do speak and they talk in their own language and different species of ants have different languages and modes of communications. Ants produce a certain chemical that helps them all to communicate with each other called pheromones.
These pheromones are helpful in sending chemical messages. Ants who live in colonies and have the tendency to build their nests and even store it how come one can’t imagine them having a language or proper communication system.
1400 years ago when the Quran told about the Prophet Solomon that he had the ability to talk and understand the languages of all the animal, birds and insects the non-believers joked about it and till this day their attitude remains the same.
The question was that how can a human talk to an ant. This question is now answered scientifically and it has become a proved fact that ants talk in their own language and have a special mode of communication.
Ants communicate by making sounds and these sounds are generated from their backs. Pheromones are created in their backs which help them launch a chemical signal to the fellow ants. Every specie has its own language and modes of communication in ants.
The experiments made on the ants were simple. Small headphones were placed on the top of their nest and different sounds were played on those headphones. The ants reacted so some sounds like for example on a special sound the worker ants gathered themselves around the queen.

It was not hard for the scientist to note down that this particular sound was like a distress call for the worker ants and they thought their queen was in danger so they all ran towards her to protect her. One more amazing thing is that blue butterflies know the same language the ants use.

The pupae of blue butterflies deceives the ants using the same sounds or language and the ants take these pupae to their nest and nourish them and the reason call it love because the pupae imitates the voice of the ant queen.
