Jordanian King Abdullah Gets A Standing Ovation

Jordanian recently appeared in European parliament and made one speech there. Title of his speech was “This Is What It Means to Be a Muslim”. He said Europe is an important partner. Europe has done great helping to prevent in rise of Islam phobia.
He said this Islam phobia is based on false allegations and Europe understands well about those allegations this is why Europe is helping to stop Islam Phobia.
This is why it is important to clarify what it really means to be a Muslim. I and countless other Muslims have been taught from our earliest day that our religion demanded respect and care for others. Nabi Pak SAW said none of you has faith until you love for your neighbors what you love for yourself.
This is what it means to be a Muslim.
I have used As Salam o Alikum to greet others all my life and countless Muslims in the world do the same as I do because we have been taught to behave like this. He again used the title of his speech “This is what it means to be a Muslim”.
More than thousand years ago Muslim soldiers were taught not to kill child, women and old person. They were further taught do not destroy tree, do not harm priest, and do not destroy the church. He added furthermore that we were taught in school that do not destroy Masjid and do not desecrate a place where GOD is worshipped.
After his speech all the parliamentarian were on their foot they were giving standing ovation to king Abdullah.
Jordanian king Abdullah started his speech with the name of ALLAH. Then he thanked to the European Union who invited him for the speech. He said people may only live in this world with mutual respect. He further added civilizations are built on it. Futures are better for it.
He said our world is facing so many challenges and one of the major challenges is terrorism. We cannot win that war without mutual understanding for mutual understanding trust is main factor. If we cannot trust each other then we will no longer have friendly environment for ourselves neither for our next generations.
He added the savage murder of Jordanian pilot has outraged us. Japan`s response is swift, serious and determined. We will continue our fight. We and Arab muslims country not only defend our people but also our faith. He also defined that we should keep an eye on extremism.
Threat is not only to Syria or Iraq; in fact it has struck Libya, Yemen, Sinai, Mali, Nigeria, the horn of afria, Asia, America and Australia. Europe has suffered by so many attacks but it showed its unbeatable courage.
Furthermore he said Europe is important partner that has helped us against Islam phobia. This idea is on false ideas and plays into the hands of extremists around the world either muslims or non-muslims. He said that our region must renew the recourse of our great strength. Young people on both sides must be impressed by the values that reject the violence.
