Gen. Pervez Mushrraf praises Gen. Raheel Sharif

Former COAS and President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharaf  was asked a question by the anchor person who was gone to the residence of him about the currently COAS General Raheel Sharif that what do you know about General Raheel Sharif.
Former COAS and President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharaf replied in a cool way that he was promoted from Colonel to Brigadier and after that he was further promoted to Lieutenant General because he was a very intelligent and hard worker officer. He always put his services at front end for this state.
He further explained that General Raheel Sharif was an honest, loyal and truthful person. He was capable of every such competencies which an Pakistani Army officer possess in order to lead his battalion.
I personally know him when I was in uniform and command. When I saw his personal capabilities and competencies then his promotion was recommended by me both of the times.
All in all he was younger brother of martyred Shabeer Sharif. And he was my batch mate at PMA Pakistan military Academy and even his room was also with my room in the training academy.
Shabeer Sharif was basically an army officer who devoted his life in the way of defending Pakistan and after that his valor and bravery was renowned and accepted by the Pakistan Army and government as well and he was awarded with the award of Nishan-e-Haider who is the biggest award of military for Army personals.
General Pervaiz Musharaf further told that he was Senior Commandant and I was Junior Commandant at that time. So by keeping this thing into mind then it is clear that he was senior then me and I was junior to him
Both time, promotions of General Raheel Sharif was on merit. No doubt I had soft corner for him but this edge was not included during his promotion to upper level. His competencies include bravery, straight forward, truthfulness, honesty, and strong passion towards the motto and objective of Pakistan Army.
Overall the main feature he secured was that he was truly a nice gentleman who never give away and strongly stick to his work. Now he is COAS Chief of Army Staff and all of the Pakistanis are happy from his noble deeds and decisions which he took for the betterment of Pakistan.
Our ongoing generations will have respect for him that in such a typical situation he controlled internal and external affairs as well in a very gentle way. Further may Allah bless him and our prayers are with him that he may lives long and Allah gave him success and made the path easy on which he wants to work
