Pakistani media channels have adopted new business in Ramazan for last couple of years. They are arranging different types of programs on their channels. They invite people on their channels and divide different gifts after asking few Islamic questions.
Some of the channels are distributing heavy gifts because they have some very big investors and sponsors at their back. They are earning billions of rupees through those sponsors but they are distributing very few. They have made ramazan as their business.
People who participate in those programs do not have self-respect either. They join those programs with their families and if you watch those programs you will see they are dying to get price by any means.
This should come to end now, ramazan is for worship and ALLAH knows who is doing what. These filth on channel should come to end they are ruining the values of Islam. This is not what islam has said. Islam has different teachings and if we follow those teachings then we will be able to find the real peace in ourselves.
In early days of Pakistan people were so happy with the programs on PTV. It used to be good time people used to sit with families to watch TV show. Elder of family members used to ask children to sit with them to watch TV program.
In early days there used to be entertaining programs that usually used to show mixture of entertainment and knowledge. If you do comparison of today`s show with early days show you will definitely love to kill yourself
All the media channels have started campaign in Ramazan to increase their ratings. For that they have started different programs. They invite people in that program and distribute gifts. It is good thing to giving gifts and especially in Ramazan but the way they distribute is very humiliating.
They should change it into good manners. You cannot humiliate everyone just because you are giving present to him. Furthermore this is not channel that is giving gifts those gifts are given by different sponsor in that program.
In one program Dr. ShahidMasood elaborated the story behind ramazan transmission. He told that they are earning huge amount of money. Channels are taking so much amount from the sponsors and distributing nothing.
World was watching them at that time because that specific show is one of the famous ramazan shows in Pakistan. People will take it in negative way although people do not know the relation between them. In any case they should have noticed that they are live on one Pakistani mainstream channel.
After watching ramzan transmission now families will avoid from those transmissions program. They will turn off their television or at least they will change the channel because they will have understanding anything can go in this program. They will ask their children not to watch this program because they know this will increase the vulgarity even in their children.
Our censor board should come into play to stop these types of vulgar programs on our television.
