The real story behind MQM is same as we know with all the groups who were created in the reaction of something or they got together to ask for their rights but unfortunately they lost their path in the midway and became a terrorist group.
MQM when was formed at the Karachi university in reaction to the difficult situation faced by the Urdu speaking students at the hand of Sindhi people. This start no one knew will mark a not ending violence in the Sindh province. MQM when was formed was a party of young educated men who wanted nothing but equal rights for their community. And they were right on this demand of them.
The establishment and the Sindhi Land lord though it as a challenge to themselves and they tried to curb out this new party. But the more you press the spring the more it jumps. Same happened with MQM now people who belonged to the Urdu speaking society started joining this party and they thought this as their identification and as their safe house.
The operation was launched against MQM in 1992. Shoaib Saddle who was Police chief acted very violently against the people who supported MQM and he made sure that anyone who had sympathy with MQM was also dealt accordingly. Long time has passed now and MQM is an established political party of Pakistan. Now MQM is again in trouble for their alleged involvement in the violence target killing and connection with Indian agency RAW.
Shoaib Saddle former chief of IB and Police for the first time has come on the media and recorded an exclusive interview. People who do not know who Shoaib Saddle is ask it from MQM. Shoaib Saddle was the main man in the operation against MQM in 1992.
During 1992 the state sponsored operation was launched against MQM. MQM in that particular time had gone out of control and people of MQM were beginning to become a cancer for the society. The back ground may be very harsh for MQM but the path which Urdu speaking people chose behind Altaf Hussain was the path of violence and no one thought what results it may bring for the MQM.
At that time PMLN was in government in the center. Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister at that time when operation was launched. It was a hasty decision and the propaganda which was done to support this operation proved wrong after a long time. The separatist allegation on MQM was never proven and people who lost their lives many of them were innocent.
Today Shoaib Saddle is disclosing that at that time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from his secret fund paid 75 billion rupees to MQM for the people who were killed during the operation. The money never reached to those who had given their lives behind the call of Altaf Hussain. This whole operation was a very sad thing. Now again after almost 20 year the same thing is in repetition once again.
