Banned Scene of TV Drama

PEMRA use the scissors of censorship on some very vulgar scenes of a TV Drama presented to them by a famous media house. There were that many unethical standards in those scenes of the drama serial that the censor board had to act strictly against them. These measures were started after the criticism by the critics and the objections by civil society on such things.
The media channels in the country have started presenting very vulgar TV Drama serials in their transmission. PEMRA was also quiet since long on such things in the media. Whenever any channel was questions or objected, they had put all the blame on Media house for those things.
Media house managers were replaying that people demand the glamour and fiction in TV Drama. PEMRA was also quieted by the strong media personalities with financial and political pressure. The objectives of the media and every other party linked to it are change to earning money instead of enterta9ing people and making a positive contribution in the society.
The positive contribution can be thought if a TV Drama giving a lesson of ethics to people in society. However if media house and TV channels becomes money making machines instead of building a positive culture in people it destroy the ethics of society. Then authorities like PEMRA have to come in action to save people.
It is needed in our media also that PEMRA should act against such media house and their productions strictly. The authorities will have to act strongly against such elements in the media for the sake of young generation. Media channels should also realize that TV Drama can build of destroy a generation because of its way of presetting things.
Some very unethical scenes of a TV Drama were banned by the PEMRA after watching the whole serial for censorship. The media regularity authority has tightened their rules against the media house and their productions because of large criticism in the country over media. There were different scenes in the drama which were not feasible for people to watch while sitting with families.
The media house owners in the country had started making very vulgar type of TV Drama serials following the foreign media. In competition they had started overlooking the limits set by the PEMRA as a standard for them. With the time the motives of the media in country have changes on a large scale.
The media House managers now think of getting the top spot among other channels. While making a TV Drama, they forget that they are going to be watched at homes by families. Any family with the Muslims beliefs can not watch such type of scenes while sitting with the children and other members of families. They even do not care for the rules of PEMRA also.
There was a time when the TV Drama of Pakistani media was praised and followed all around the world. People used to watch with great fervor because of their story and them. Now following the others the media house owners have changes everything in competition with others. PEMERA authorities also had closed their eyes on these things for some time.
