Shaista Lodhi has come back once again after she had to leave due to a controversial program. Shaista is a very good and gorgeous anchor and morning show host. She is sister of another famous morning show host Sahir Lodhi who known for his style and his overacting we must say.
Mubashir Luqman has interviewed Shaista Lodhi after she has made her come back. Mubashir asked some very serious questions from Shaista and she was surprised to hear what Mubashir disclosed to her. Shaista came to know that she was being used by her media group. And Shaista didn’t had any news or clue about it.
Mubashir Luqman from ARY during that time also spoke against Shaista but he is now again providing her with a platform to speak and to clarify her in front of people. Shaista asked for forgiveness at that time and she is again asking for pardon from people.
The issue of blasphemy are very sensitive in Pakistan and people are very emotional towards the issues related to the religion. Nine out of ten time when something like this happens people lose their temper and a mob is formed which in result can do anything.
People must be educated and clarified about this blasphemy law and this must be a crime which state must report. This is the issue of someone’s life. The religious scholars must also give a unanimous decision regarding this law and use of it. Since this law was established it is misused many time and no one is yet convicted in this crime.

In her morning show Shaista Lodhi played a Qawwali during a segment where the marriage ceremony of Veena Malik with her husband was taking place. That Qawwali was a religious one and it spoke of some very sacred personalities related to Prophet. The mistake was when the name of those personalities were spoken in the Qawwali the camera focused the Veena Malik and her Husband.
As we have told you earlier that Veena Malik is very bold actress and she is controversial too. So filming something like this on her face was not a good idea at all. But the reason behind this controversy was the war of two media houses. The Geo and Jung and the ARY are two biggest media houses of Pakistan and they are always looking for occasion when they can harm the opposite group.
The ARY when took notice of what exactly had happened they made breaking news of it and they provoked people against Shaista Lodhi. Because the issue was a religious and very sensitive Shaista Lodhi had to leave the channel immediately and ask for forgiveness from everyone. The clerics and the anchors of ARY also added fuel to the fire and the issue became much highlighted. Now after gap of almost half a year Shaista Lodhi is back.
