Canada is a land richly cultivated with the Punjabis and most them have travelled from the Indian side of Punjab so in Canada there are les Canadians and more Sikhs in term of a technical reference. This video is a production from Msmutta.
The video features three girls giving a tribute to some of the hit Punjabi songs since the airing of these provisional language songs started. Sikhs speak Punjabi as their mother tongue so all these songs are in Punjabi and the girls have ricked it.
The best thing is that the costumes designed for them are matching to the theme of every song played perfectly and as you can see the whole video is shot in a car so it gives you a pretty decent idea how wonderfully it has been shot.
This idea is not a new one and of you look into YouTube there are other production houses working on the same theme as well. Some are arranging Bollywood themes as per the eras and some are taking to down to the Southern part of the country.
It has been known as a trend in the production houses. This is unique to note that this idea was first executed in London and from there it went as a hit and people started working on the same theme as per their film industry.
The trio featured here in the video will be shortly seen in a drama Anarkali featuring the lives of Sikh females living in Canada, their lives, needs, demands and all the problems they face in and out of their families.
The idea may have been old and initiated in the western part of the world but now it has become a top hit amongst the circles of different film and TV industries and people are keen in making their own videos practicing the same idea.
Get thee girls in a car and ask them to lip sync on some of the biggest hit tracks and record their actions this was the idea first executed in UK and after that it just went ballistic thanks to You Tube. Creative people saw it copied it and presented it in unique ways.
Now You Tube has hundreds of videos made on the same idea. Some of them have the Bollywood them and some have the Tamil. This here is the Punjabi version. Three girls from Canada and they lip sync on different Punjabi hits.
This is the whole video and even in it we see the edited parts as well. The makeup was great and the clothes were remarkable. It is the blending of the clothes and makeup with the song that makes this video a super hit.
