Snakes are fascinating creatures which are capable of doing things that are seemingly impossible, and a couple of teens found that out first hand after they saved a snake that was trapped in some netting.
A video uploaded to YouTube shows the two men, presumably teens, working to free the hopelessly ensnared animal. With one using a stick to prevent from being bitten, the other uses a pocket knife to cut away the nylon netting, taking care to not hurt the frightened reptile.
After some time, the boys are able to free the snake, then look on in shock as the creature gives them a “thank you” which is sure to turn your stomach.
At first, the two teens assume they broke the snake’s jaw while working to free him, but that wasn’t the case. As the snake writhes on the ground, something starts emerging from its mouth – its last meal.
Apparently, the snake had eaten a large frog before the boys came across him, and he was spitting it up, likely to flee the potential threat from the two teens faster.
“Craziest moment of our f**kin’ lives,” one of the teens said into the camera.
Indeed. I’ve been around many snakes and I’ve never watched one spit up its last meal. However, this is a defense mechanism snakes in fear for their lives use since the bulky meal can slow their escape.
