How Muslim‬ Astronauts Pray In Space

Islam comes from the root word slam which means “peace”. Peace acquired by submitting your will to GOD. A person who submits his will to GOD is a Muslim. And to enter the school of Islam one has to say with true intention the words in Arabic that I bare witness that there is only one GOD and Muhammad is the servant and messenger of GOD.
After entering the school of Islam starts some compulsory activities and duties upon a Muslim in order to become a practicing Muslim. In these compulsory worshiping methods one is called as salah or prayer which every Muslim has to pray five times a day regularly at specific timings and with specific method.
It is quite easy to practice any activity including prayer for human being on earth because the gravitational force of earth helps mankind to stay on the earth and perform the activities in complete balance and in harmony with the nature. But what about space where there is no gravitational force.
This video carries the same case that how a Muslim is offering his prayer in the space in a big area where there is gravitational force is quite weak and in order to put his head on the surface which is the most important part of prayer, he has to use physical force.

Through all over the prayer activity you might have observed that this Muslim is appearing to be very slow and steady in performing all the prayer activities that include the direction towards ground. Science tells us that outside the earth after a specific area gravitational force starts reducing gradually and it becomes difficult to stay on ground.
Gravitational force is refferd as the force which attracts all the physical materials on the earth towards the ground and 9.8 meter per second is its measurement which means if any object is thrown from a specific height it will fall down with the speed of 9.8 meter per second which is actually gravitational force.
All the religions though force on performing good deeds but followers of Islam believe that Islam is the religion which not only teach good but also tells that how to acquire that specific state of performing good deed. It first closes all the loopholes; teach to destroy the root cause of problems faced by humanity.
After elimination of root cause it teaches the practicing law that is necessary to maintain peace on earth. Among the teachings of Islam one is referred as prayer. Prayer or salah is practice that is obligatory five times a day regularly so that man is reminded of the teachings of Islam.
Beside reminded of teachings of Islam, a Muslim also keep his faith alive that one day he will be accountable to GOD for all the blessings of this life. Among practicing Muslims here is a footage of a Muslim who has not forgotten his duty to pray even in the space.
The slow movement in the prayer is due to the lack of gravitational force that attracts objects towards earth or ground. The same very science is being observed here that this astronaut has to use more physical force in order to perform most important part of prayer that is to bow his head and body on the ground in front of his Lord.
