Manatee is one of the gentle animals on the brink of earth. They live in sea and that is why sometimes they are called sea cows. Manatees have weight of 300 kgs to 500 kgs and their length can be up to 2.8 to 3.0 meters. Female in manatees tends to be larger and heavier than male manatees.

They use the lip to gather food and eat it. Manatees have four rows of teeth. Manatees are generally solitary animals apart from mothers with their young ones. Manatees spend half of their day sleeping, submerged, and surfacing for air regularly at interval of less than 20 minutes.
Sea cows normally swim 5 to 8 km per hour but normally they have been known to swim 30 km per hour. Manatees are capable of understanding discrimination tasks. They normally have good long term memory. Manatees normally use wide range of sounds to communicate each others.
Manatees are harmless mammals and friendly too. They do not hurt anyone even not to humans. They do no fight over food even if there is a fight in between them then it will not be that much.
In video there is one girl who is afraid of sea cow. She is screaming in fear and running from manatee.
It was easy for manatee to get her and hurt her, as they do not hurt anyone. It was only chasing the girl and enjoying her screaming. There was another guy along with girl who was picturizing this moment.

Girls are always scary of animals and birds too. They will scream in fear if anyone takes any of the bird or animal towards them.

Same thing happened in video when a sea cow starts chasing one girl. There is another guy who is picturizing this video. He actually knows manatee will not hurt that girl, and this is why it is becoming fun for the boy who is recording this moment.

She was screaming in fear and was trying to swim as fast as she can. It was easy for sea cow to get her but it was not chasing the girl. It was only enjoying the moment.
Sea cows are friendly and harmless mammals. They do not hurt any human even they do not have fight within their species. One cannot go near to them and can touch them if he/she can bear the smell of them.Sea cows normally spend 50 percent of their day sleeping and rest of the day in sea and eating.

Manatees mostly found in Caribbean. They normally travel towards coast of Florida from Caribbean. Manatees normally love to spend their time in heat that is why you will find them in hot areas of the world.

The U.S fish and wildlife services are trying to find the new way to the heat the water up for manatees. This will cost them a bit, but in the end they will be able to save the species of manatees.
