Anacondas or pythons are the largest snakes on the face of the earth. They are so enormous that they can be as long as 30 feet and weight in tons. One wonders is how they may have survived for this size.
The terror of snake is always there in the mind of humans. Folk stories are full  with tales about snakes. The anaconda is entirely different from rest of the snake we see around.

Characteristically the internal anatomy is almost the same but with respect to size there are few changes. Like the huge size the internal muscles for movement are much developed but still it can not move swiftly
The mouth consists of special kind of arrangement of bones which enables the mouth to open wide while it engulfs the prey. A pipe for breathing while engulfing the prey sticks out from the mouth so that it may not have problem of breathing.

They consume food with respect to their size as they have more need of energy. But we see that it very seldom preys. But when it does it makes sure that the size is so much so it could suffice it self.

At many occasions we have seen these monsters eating huge animals like goats and deer. We have seen in a video where a battle took place between an anaconda and crocodile the anaconda ate the crocodile in that battle.

The wild is full of wonders and fears. There are always surprises waiting and things to be feared. Pythons are one of those things one should always fear.

They catch the prey from it’s head and squeeze it from ribs and lungs area and the prey is suffocated to death in the matter of minutes. After it is killed they eat him up from head to toe nothing is left behind.

After the prey is engulfed by the predator then every thing including bones,horns,skull etc is digested and consumed.
Evidences are there that pythons have ate as big animals as crocodiles. Some time if the prey is big enough they burst out and in the end both the prey and predator are killed.

Still the terror remains with the pythons. Question is have they ever ate a human or any of human being reported to have been killed and eaten by them. In this video some university students are looking for the largest snakes near floating forests.

These forests are called floating because they are located in marshes and that is the habitat of pythons. The largest python to find is not very easy for them the area is full of predators like crocodiles and they are complete strangers in the area.
