The melody, "Your Love Never Fails" by Jesus Culture has been playing again and again in my brain and soul. Maybe that is on account of I've been In the Storm... I see how unnerving it can be.

As a kid I was dependably horrendously apprehensive about tempests. The beating precipitation, wailing winds, blasting thunder that shook the windows and splitting lightning that flashed over the sky unnerved me. It was difficult to feel safe in the midst of the assault of nature. Not in any case putting my head under the spreads and petitioning God for it to go away made a difference. "Imagine a scenario in which the home I was in neglected to secure me. Imagine a scenario where I didn't survive the tempest?" These were inquiries I stressed quietly over as the tempest boiled over on.

As a grown-up, I've asked the same inquiries amid the tempest. In spite of the fact that the tempest wasn't a physical one thusly, it has been unnerving regardless.

One thing I've adapted in my Christian walk is that we all face storms - Some little ones, some substantial ones and some that clear in and victory everything in their way. Still, into each life a tempest will blow. Furthermore, the tempest can originate from apparently out of the blue, when life is going great and you're doing your outright best to serve God. Then again the tempest can comes as an aftereffect of terrible choices, decisions or errors we've made. In any case, it can be terrifying and excruciating.

The other thing I've learned - am as yet learning - God is with me in the tempest. I can't see Him, I don't generally hear Him or feel Him however He IS there and His adoration never falls flat.

So I can chime in with Jesus Culture, And when the seas wrath, I don't need to be anxious, Because I realize that You cherish me, Your adoration never falls flat...

So take heart - regardless of the tempest you're experiencing, God is with you.

He won't disappoint you.

His adoration won't fizzle you. Regardless of how the seas lash out, the winds blow and the house is shaken.

He will be with you.

In Hebrews 13:5 The Lord guarantees, "I will never abandon you nor spurn you." I like the way its worded in the Amplified variant. It states, "I won't, won't, won't abandon you."

How's that for consolation?

Trust me, I realize that occasionally that is hard to recollect, particularly when you're in the very eye of the tempest and the wind is stunning. I recognize what it is to have uncertainty ambush you, you're confidence basically disintegrate around you and the adversary charge God to you. Anyway, hold tight my companion.

God won't, won't, won't abandon you. You can sing, "The wind is solid and the water's profound... anyhow, I'm not the only one on these untamed oceans... "
